Welcome to My World
Perhaps it's a little late, but it was about time I entered the blogging world... I've been in Australia now for almost 3 months, minus one where I went to Spain to visit mom, including several stopovers here and there. However, as the title implies, this is a welcoming message to all of you, and a warm hearted welcome to my new world: Melbourne, Australia.A lot of people ask me what I have been up to, and the answer is "a bit of this and that"! I've taken time to move in to our new apartment, and let me tell you, buying furniture on a budget is more time consuming than you would imagine! I've also taken time to start cooking again, and loving it! I've also bought a bike and love biking through Melbourne's beautiful neighbourhoods. I also spent a lot of time preparing my visa application, and application to Melbourne Business School (just took a math test that didn't go all that well, but I'm keeping fingers crossed). The next step is starting to look for a job, in hopes that my visa will get sorted out soon.In case you are wondering how the hell I ended up in Melbourne, well the answer is simple: Love makes the world go around... Or, in my case, love makes me go around the world! Urs has started a Masters of Environment at Melbourne University, and I decided to tag along. It's probably temporary, but with us, you never know how long "temporary" means. So stay tuned to next developments!I wont bore you with anymore for now, but I promise to think of something interesting to write next time. This is, after all, just a first try!

Hi Josephine. I found your blog through a Google Alert that I have on the phrase "Melbourne Business School". I'm a recent MBS MBA graduate and I maintain a list of MBS bloggers on my own blog (insanityworks.org/acme).
I'm also relatively new to Melbourne, having been here for about two years and, like you, am now a trailing spouse as well since my wife is doing her PhD from the University of Melbourne and has another three years to go.
I just wanted to welcome you to Melbourne and the blogosphere and to wish you the best of luck in your MBS application.
As is the case, Ameel and I have both found your blog because you talk about Melbourne Business School.
I am currently working and studying at Melbourne Business School and wish all the best in your new (and totally amazing) world.
Thanks for the comments! Wow, I really wasn't expecting comments so soon! This is great, and makes me want to keep it up. I'll be checking your blogs now!
